The past few weeks have been really great. I've seen Rose almost every other day lately, and we're getting to know each other much better, and I think every day gives us something new to love about each other.
Here in Canada, we had Thanksgiving not long ago, and I invited Rose over to spend time with my family. We were a little nervous about it at first, but the whole evening went very well, and everyone got along easily. Later that night, she even let me cuddle up against her while we watched TV, which was something she used to be a lot more cautious about. It was a small thing, but I really appreciated it. It was another nice part of a really good evening together. Unfortunately, work prevented me from visiting her family in return, but we will hopefully get a chance to do something like that soon.
Fall is Rose's favourite time of year, and we've been spending a lot of time looking at the leaves changing, her taking a lot of pictures, and finding interesting seasonal things to do together. (more about that in part 2) All of this inspired me to make up a new mix for the season. It's a collection of songs that make me think of hot drinks, watching the leaves, and cuddling.
