Introducing Jubilee!

First off, my apologies for my absence, dear readers.  When I talked about cutting off contact with Rose before, it seems I wasn't quite accurate.  It lasted a short while, but messages came, and soon we were talking as often as we ever did.  We're working on being friends right now, and are in the process of untangling the emotional webs we spun for each other.  It's hard, and often frustrating, but I still think it's better than forcibly shutting ourselves away from each other.

Anyway, on to the more exciting news!

I recently met a girl online, who I've decided to call Jubilee here.  We became friends on Facebook quickly, and are now in the process of learning about each other.  Unfortunately, a meetup is not possible for a while, but I think it's helpful in a way, since it leaves us time to get comfortable with each other, as much as one can via the internet.  Jubilee is from a Cuban/European background, and from what she's told me her dad is awesome, and I already want to meet him.  She's also geeky in a way many girls aren't.  She has strong opinions on things like Doctor Who and various comic heroes.  For instance, she thinks Superman is better than Batman.  By her reasoning, Batman is kind of a douche.  As much as I love Batman, it's a tough point to argue with.  She's very cute, although I'm not sure how to describe it in detail.  I may find the words in a future post.  There's probably more to say, but for now, I'll just say that I think Jubilee could be someone very good for me.  The thing is, I've really got to focus so that I can do it the right way, and not fall into the old, stupid patterns of my romantic life.
