I've been sitting on this for long enough, so I might as well share this with you all: as some of you may have suspected, I have been talking to a girl recently. (we'll call her Jersey Girl for the time being)
I like her, even though we don't have very much in common. Since we started talking on Facebook, Jersey Girl has been increasingly shy/quiet in chat, and this has gotten me wondering how she feels about me. At the moment, it feels like a grey area, and I want to know for sure what she thinks before things go further. I sent her the message asking her something to this effect a few days ago, but haven't gotten any reply as yet. I'm not sure what that means, and I'm trying not to worry about it, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't concerned. I think I'd be okay with it if Jersey Girl wasn't interested, but it's just the not knowing part that gets me.
Update: Jersey Girl got back to me, and we decided not to discuss the emotional end of things at the moment. As much as I'd like to know, I think this is probably for the best.
