Big Weekend - Part 1

Somehow, I don't think I mentioned this, but in just two days, my little sister will be getting married.  Understandably, my family has been slightly high-strung and frantic over the last week or so.  I'm mostly doing what I'm told and not getting overly involved when possible.  It's not that I don't care, it just seems like the most sensible way to get through this.

I always thought I'd be married by now, but I'm very happy for my sister.  She picked a great guy, and he's already become like another brother to me.  I don't have a lot of experience at weddings, so this is going to be something of a new thing for me, particularly since I'm in the wedding party and will be giving a speech with my brother, who is the best man.  Rose will also be attending, and we're both a bit nervous and excited for her to meet my extended family.  

After the wedding, I'll be travelling to Rose's home for the rest of the weekend, where I'll be going to her church, and then out for a beach day, and possibly catching the new Star Trek movie.  There's a lot going on in the next while, and I'm excited about it!
